Coronavirus (COVID-19) Announcement to All Customers and Suppliers

Buschman manufactures coating rods and rod holders, which are consumable spare parts used on machines that spread liquid coatings on to paper for packaging in the following industries:

Food
Meat
Medicine

On March 22, 2020, the Ohio Department of Health issued an “Order that All Persons Stay at Home Unless Engaged in Essential Work or Activity”. That Order provided that all “Non-essential Business and Operations must cease… except Essential Businesses and Operations as defined” in that Order. The Order further provides that those businesses are “encouraged to remain open.”

The Order went on to define Essential Businesses and Operations (that are exempt from the cessation order) as “manufacturing companies, distributors, and supply chain companies producing and supplying essential products and services in and for industries such as pharmaceutical… healthcare, food and beverage.”

Pursuant to the express terms of this Order (and pursuant to other portions of the Order that specifically support the fact that the products that we manufacture are “essential” to these industries), Buschman is excepted from any requirement to cease our business and operations in the State of Ohio, where we operate, and in fact, have been encouraged by the State of Ohio Department of Health to remain open.
